    Peyton Manning

    what is wrong with him?
he has not played terrible, but he is not his usual accurate self.

In 6 recent quarters (game vs. SD, first Q vs. Dallas), he threw six interceptions.

Whats up with him? And most of them, at least four, have not came from WR mistakes or bad breaks, it was Peyton making a bad throw or a bad decision that got picked.

    Re: Peyton Manning

And Peyton throws ANOTHER pick that was his fault. He didnt see the DAL LB, Sean Lee, and he was able to pick it and return it for a TD (2nd INT return TD today, 3rd INT overall today).

Peyton now has 7 picks in two games.

He wont' take the blame though, as you could see when he's walking off the field.
his press conference, he'll do as he always does, bash the wr's and line.
    Manning has just went horrible.

    Re: Peyton Manning

I think it's due to the fact that the Colt's have no running game. I'm not sure if Addai is playing today or not, but I know last week it seemed like Manning was forcing throws.

    Re: Peyton Manning

Addai is out, Hart was playing but reinjured the ankle, its just Donald Brown and Javarris James for Indy right now.

the Colts running game is terrible, but its been bad the last couple of years. They have not had a reliable running threat since Addai's rookie year or Edge's last couple of seasons.

Peyton is trying to do too much IMO, and forcing throws like you said. He does not have faith in any WR besides Wayne and somewhat Garcon, so he is staring down WRs and making obvious throws, getting them picked by LBs like Lee, who are not coverage guys.
Its not just CBs picking him off, its linebackers which is a bad sign.

    Re: Peyton Manning

I am listening on Sirius, so I havent' seen the play, but the Dallas announcers said on that one you could just tell that the WR went the wrong way on the route.

    Re: Peyton Manning

The Colts haven't had a running game in years.

    30th YPG rushing this year.

    32nd YPG rushing last year.

    31st YPG rusing in 08'.

Addai is good, but they just haven't ran the ball good in awhile and yes, Addai is out today.

Dallas is close to blowing a game for the second straight week, really ****ing me off Choice isn't getting more carries. Finally he get's some today, had a TD on 6 for 46 I believe. This guy does nothing but make plays when he touches the ball, every bit as good as Felix IMO.

You're a ****ing idiot. He's never done that. He said after the Pittsburg game (when they lost to them in the playoffs in the Steelers SB year) where he was eaten alive that they "had some protection issues". That's the worst thing he's ever said about a team mate. That was after being grilled for 45 minutes with the same question. Since he always does that, go to Google, Yahoo, where ever and find me one of those quotes. If you're going to say something, at least don't just pull **** out of your ass.

The 2nd INT was on White. He did cut the route off when he saw Lee in the middle of the field. The first one was just another one of those forced throws he's been making.

Overall he's just forcing things because he's working with a high school all star team. Irsay is going to have to spend some money and get some OL and LB's at least.

    Re: Peyton Manning

I think it is quite obvious what is happening. When teams can stop your running game with 3-4 defensive linemen, and drop 7-8 into coverage, that makes it tough to hit the dig, post and seam routes that the colts have been good at. Peyton is still good, but he has to try to force the ball over and under defenders, whereas in the past either double coverage or a little better running game has required more defenders in the box.

    Re: Peyton Manning

After that final drive to come back and tie the game I think he is fine, but he has had some issues the last few quarters but there are numerous things wrong with Indy right now. And the statement about him blaming others is just complete BS
